The video serves as a record of the process of sculpting a clay self portrait eventually made into a cement sculpture.
The process featured remodeling as a result of plaster-casting problems drying out the first version and cracking it. Unlike the first version, the remodeled version was made without the aid of visual references like photographs and a mirror-image. Instead, it was sculpted from memory.
This stop-frame process video was played on loop as a projection on the cement sculpture. This formed an installation work: Flux, exhibited in 2017.
